Flat 'n Fast
Stride originated from the idea of providing a unique 5km racing experience in Scotland.
This led us to the newly opened West Lothian Cycle Circuit situated on the grounds of Xcite Leisure Centre, Linlithgow.
The course is made up of a 960 metre enclosed tarmacked loop, perfect for fast times.
Our inaugural event, Flat 'N Fast 5k took place on Friday 22nd September 2023 where a staggering 91 athletes ran personal best times and 118 ran seasons bests.

Flat 'n Fast 2024
Flat 'N Fast returned on Saturday 20th April, bigger and better than before.
​
Duncan Robinson of Giffnock North ran a new Scottish Native Best time of 13.52.3, smashing our course record by a staggering 39 seconds!
The Giffnock athlete led another 6 men below our previous course record.
​
Natasha Phillips of Dundee Hawkhill also took down our pervious course record, running a time of 16.16.4 to win the Elite Women's race. Along with Natasha, another 4 women dipped below our previous course record.
​
This years event saw the edition of a 3k junior event. Rory MacMillan and Millie Gairn made history by becoming our first ever 3k champions.

Inverclyde Athletic Club’s Ben Potrykus and Edinburgh University’s Niamh Carr made history at West Lothian Cycle Circuit in Linlithgow, becoming the first winners of the Flat ‘N Fast 5K.

Stride Sundays are a great way for runners of all abilities to come together. We offer long run groups of varying paces and distances to ensure everyone can participate.

Glasgow - Every Sunday at 09.30 from The Good Coffee Cartel in Kinning Park.
